However, it is important that you choose a mattress specifically designed for an adjustable bed when looking to complete your adjustable bed setup. They need to be flexible enough to adapt to the changing positioning of the bed frame, and certain mattress types won't work so well, making your bed much less comfortable or effective.

Can I use any headboard with a reclining bed?

Do you need special sheets for an adjustable bed frame?

Sheets for adjustable beds do require some special features to stay attached to the mattress as it moves. Fitted sheets that are too loose or small can pop out of position when the adjustable bed is activated. Look for sheets with elastic suspenders or sheet straps, as they securely hold the sheet in place
