Who are Silentnight?
The success story that is Silentnight kicked into gear in 1946. Why choose a Silentnight divan bed & headboards?
Divan beds and headboards by Silentnight are among the most popular beds in the world. We’ve curated a selection of the very best divans to improve your quality of sleep and manage the clutter of everyday life.
A divan bed frame is highly coveted due to its ability to optimise space in the bedroom without sacrificing style. An innovative storage bed, divans typically come in a wide range of constructions, from ottoman beds to divan beds with continental drawers. Silentnight divan, headboard and mattress sets come in a range of styles to suit all preferences and tastes.
There are two different styles of divan bases to choose from: a sprung top base which includes an extra layer of springs for extra comfort, or a platform base which is much firmer. Customers are also encouraged to add their own personal touches to their new bed by selecting the colour and style of the frame.
What type of Silentnight divan beds and headboards are available?
The first choice to make when finding the right divan for you is, simply, which bed set do you require? Our Silentnight divans come as a bed base only or a full divan bed and mattress set. The versatility of a divan frame makes it applicable to an existing mattress, however, take extra care with the maintenance of your mattress should you go down that road.
Available in an array of colours, including sand and grey divans, our modern divans and headboards can be applied to all decors. Equally comfortable forming the centre piece of a new bedroom, Silentnight divans and headboards are a classy addition to your sleeping environment.
The versatility of our divans doesn’t end there. You can choose how much, if any, space or storage you require. Safety is paramount to MattressNextDay and all our products have been thoroughly tested to the highest standards. Silentnight beds, headboards and mattresses have been put through their paces in a SATRA accredited testing lab, passing with flying colours for flammability, temperature control, pressure and durability.
How often should I turn my Silentnight divan bed mattress?
Should you choose one of our divan bed and mattress sets, it’s incredibly important to turn your mattress. We recommend that the divan mattress is turned every two weeks during its first 6 months of use. Following this initial period, you can turn the mattress monthly for the remainder of its use. This helps to evenly spread the settlement on your sleeping position and keep the mattress fresh and full of life.
How do I clean my mattress and base?
Mattresses and divan beds are sensitive to detergents and chemical cleaners due to their high-quality fabric manufacturing. Steer clear from these harmful cleaning aids, opting for dry cloths instead. Avoid getting your mattress wet where possible. We recommend that our mattress protectors are used to shield the bed base from liquids and wear and tear, helping it hit its peak lifespan.
